Steps to Apply

Visiting Riverbend School is the best way to begin to understand the power and possibility of Montessori education. We host several admissions events throughout the year. Register for more information and a link to see our beautiful, expansive campus.

Applying is easy using our online application. Application due dates for our priority Admissions are as follows:

  • December 1 – Children’s House Toddler (ages 18 months – 3) and Primary students (ages 3 – 4)
  • February 1  – Kindergarten – 8th grade

Applications received after the above deadlines will be welcomed on a rolling basis. Apply today!

Pre-Primary and Primary: Students with offers of admission will visit in January and again in June.

Kindergarten through Middle School: Before enrollment decisions are made in March, Kindergarten students will have an in-classroom visit for a part of the morning work cycle, Lower Elementary students will visit for a whole morning, and Upper Elementary and Middle School students will visit for an entire school day. These visits are typically scheduled from December to February.

Toddler: No student visit is required for admissions decisions. We invite students to visit in the spring to help acclimate them to their new school environment.

Decisions for Children’s House applicants are made by mid-December and will continue until the program is full. Kindergarten through 8th grade decisions are sent March 10 and deposits are due by April 10.

Waitlisted applications will be carried over to the following school year and applicants will not need to re-apply.

Riverbend School admits families of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, marital status, religion, political beliefs, disability, and sexual orientation to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to families of the School. Toilet training is not a prerequisite for admittance in our Toddler and Primary programs.
