Riverbend School moved to a distance learning curriculum on March 16, 2020, per Governor Baker’s mandate to close Massachusetts schools for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year. We are actively monitoring recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
All campus activities have been postponed—including Summer at Riverbend—or moved to a virtual platform through June 29.
The School’s seamless transition to online learning allowed our students to remain actively engaged learners without missing a day of school. And our belief in meeting students where they are guided us in the development of the online learning framework and guiding principles that we have implemented during this time.
