On Tuesday, December 13th, students in Upper Elementary visited Cradles to Crayons, a Boston based non-profit organization,  providing essential items to children ages 0-12 years. Once at the facility, the class was divided into two groups. One group sorted kids’ clothing by gender while the other group sorted them by size. It was heartwarming to see our students happily engaged for two hours, sorting all kind of clothes for those who are not as fortunate as them. These experiences, however small, are bridges that connect our students to the world outside their comfort zone and help instill a sense of gratitude for all that the world has given them.
