Elementary parent Andy Wigren, joined us Friday for an inspiring and interactive presentation about having a prosthetic leg. He had a birth defect that caused his right leg to grow at a different rate than his left leg and when he was four, he had his right leg amputated. He talked to the children about how “…having a prosthetic leg isn’t easy. However, personal growth doesn’t happen when things are easy.” The children asked insightful questions that Andy answered gracefully. THANK YOU, ANDY!
