Former Children's House community member
Dena Patterson joined the Riverbend community in 2016 as a parent. She has served as a Room Parent and a member of the Advancement Committee. Dena holds a B.S. from Bucknell University, a MBA from Monmouth University, and a M.A. in Liberal Studies from Loyola University Maryland. Dena is currently a Principal Gifts Officer at Wellesley College and most recently served as Principal Gifts Officer, Campaign Director, and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Directors at the United States Naval Academy Foundation. Dena’s previous roles in fundraising include Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Education at Loyola University Maryland and also Director of the Annual Fund at Loyola. She also has experience in higher education undergraduate admission/enrollment management and collegiate coaching at the Division I and Division III levels.
Dena has extensive volunteer experience, which includes service on Bucknell University’s Alumni Association Board of Directors and service on USA Field Hockey’s nominating committee.
