Kacie brings a dynamic and diverse background to Riverbend, joining after her time at Wellan Montessori, where she supported both Primary and Upper Elementary students in the classroom and led a play-based after-school program for children ages 9–14. Before transitioning into education, Kacie held a wide range of roles across sectors, including as a director at a New York City nonprofit, a liaison between U.S. Governors and Congress on bipartisan federal health policy, supporting the resettlement of Sudanese and Congolese refugees as a case manager, and more recently, advising global corporations through complex business and technology transformations. 

Kacie’s path to Montessori education was inspired by her own children’s growth in a Montessori primary classroom. A lifelong learner herself, she is passionate about bringing her breadth of experience into the classroom—creating a space that inspires curiosity, nurtures confidence, and empowers students to reach their full potential. 

When she’s not teaching or completing her Montessori training, Kacie loves gardening, exploring new places, baking and cooking with her kids, and spending time with her two beloved (and very large) labs, Jax and Brady!
