“I have been in the field of education for over 20 years, 12 of those years spent working as a Primary Teacher at Riverbend! Fun fact: my son has been at Riverbend since he was 14 months old and has completed every classroom level from toddler through UE! My daughter also attends and has been a RVBS student since the age of two!
I am a passionate advocate of sustainability in my work, having created and led school-wide recycling, Terracycling, gardening, and composting programs, and I also co-teach a kindergarten Forest Friday model classroom.
I received a certificate of Completion from the Shelburne Farms Education for Sustainability Leadership Academy where I worked with other educators from around New England on issues of School Sustainability.
For the last six years, I have directed the successful Riverbend Summer Program which has been an amazing experience. I live in Hopkinton, MA with my family and enjoy weekend day tripping, reading, gardening, hiking, and plying with our golden retriever, Felicie.”
