Veronica Whaley has a professional background in finance and public accounting, but her true passion has always been early childhood education. Since 2020, Veronica has sought out opportunities to engage with the Montessori community and volunteer at her family’s previous school in Texas. In 2022, she completed her certification at the Forest School Teacher Institute and became involved with her local chapter of Families in Nature. In recent years Veronica has directed the children’s program at a Motherhood Retreat, which was inspired by Montessori and Waldorf principles. A native Spanish speaker, Veronica is excited to lead the Spanish program for the Children’s House.
Veronica enjoys trying new recipes, exploring libraries, and creating crafts with her daughters, Harper, who is a new Kindergarten student, and Marigold, who is three months old. Some of her favorite books on childhood education include The Absorbent Mind, Raising Mentally Strong Kids, and The Montessori Toddler.
