Anne grew up in Sea Cliff, NY, then moved to nearby Wayland. She has been teaching in elementary schools since 1997, with an 8-year hiatus to create and operate a non-profit therapeutic riding center in Wayland. Anne returned to teaching as a Special Education Aide, working in Wellesley and, most recently, in Dover. She has two grown children, Jess and Nate, who live and work in Lowell and Utah, respectively. Anne loves her cat Louie and her horse Simon. She’s an avid equestrian and a Certified Therapeutic Riding instructor, with a second certification as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. She enjoys different outdoor adventures all year long, as well as gardening, cooking, and reading.
