Riverbend School is a private Montessori school in South Natick, Massachusetts. Our 200 students range in age from toddler through 8th grade. We offer an individualized learning experience where teachers guide students through the scope and sequence of our rich curriculum. Our students love coming to school!

Our talented faculty members are highly qualified, and many of them hold advanced degrees. Toddler through elementary teachers have been trained through accredited programs and earned American Montessori Society (AMS) or Association of Montessori Internationale (AMI) teaching certificates.

Riverbend History
First Montessori Program
The first Montessori program, Maria Montessori’s Casa dei Bambini (Children’s House), was established in Rome, Italy.
Eliot Montessori Opened
Eliot Montessori School was founded (starting with elementary age, then adding a middle school later).
Natick Montessori Opened
Natick Montessori opened its doors (toddler and primary levels).
Riverbend Merger
Riverbend School was formed from the merger of Eliot Montessori School and Natick Montessori.
Broke Ground on New Building
Construction began on our new Children’s House.
Additional New Buildings Opened
Riverbend debuted new Lower Elementary and gymnasium facilities, leading to the consolidation of Riverbend’s campus on one side of Eliot Street.
Satellite Campus
Riverbend received a legacy gift of property leading to the creation of the Sheila and Frank Magullion Education and Retreat Center at Riverbend School.
