After School & Enrichments

We offer a variety of options for families who need additional support before and after school. From occasional care to year-long daily coverage and exciting enrichment classes, we’ve got you covered!

Early Care & After School

Early Care before school begins at 7:30 a.m., and After School Care goes until 5:45 p.m. (not available to Children’s House half-day students). Click on the tabs below to learn about the three options we offer for extended day care.

As Needed Care

We understand that there may be times when an unexpected appointment comes up, you run into an emergency, or your child likes the idea of joining friends on the playground for After School or Early Care.

  • After School Care: Please call the office at 508-655-7333 or email signups@rvbs.org no later than 2:00 p.m. 
  • Early Care: Please email signups@rvbs.org to check if space is available for before school Early Care at least one school day in advance. If you do not receive confirmation of availability, your child may not attend early care.
  • Billing: As Needed Care charges are added to your FACTS account based on usage at the end of each month and charged for the first hour, then for each additional half hour or per morning. Please refer to your Parent Handbook for the current school year rates.

Seasonal Sessions (Pre-Registration)

Registration is divided into three sessions: Fall, Winter & Spring, so you can change your requirements as you need to throughout the school year while taking advantage of a discounted rate. Within each session, you can choose any day(s) of the week you would like to reserve and select one of four pick-up times: 4:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 5:45 p.m.

Daily Coverage All Year

This annual commitment for After School care for the entire academic year is offered with your tuition enrollment contract via Campbrain.

After School Enrichments & Athletic Programs

Riverbend School offers a variety of enrichment programs to students throughout the school year. These session-based programs take place in the fall, winter, and spring, and they include after school enrichment and athletic programs. Signups are available one to two months prior to the start of each session. Upper School children can select from a variety of after school options such as Art Studio, soccer, homework time, free play, and much more. Options vary each day, and there are a variety of choices from one season to the next. Check out our Fall Enrichment options here!
