Audrey joined Riverbend in 2023 as a teacher in the pre-primary Mulberry Room at Children’s House. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University, where she is also pursuing her Ph.D. in Educational Studies with a focus on decolonizing outdoor education. Audrey has extensive experience in farm and forest-based education, having served as the Director of Education at Natick Community Organic Farm. A frequent presenter at nature education conferences, she is excited to deepen the connections between nature education and Montessori philosophy. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys baking, running, and caring for her many animals.
