Elisabet joined Riverbend as a parent in 2017, and then began working as a substitute teacher and floater at Riverbend in the fall of 2022. She is currently a Primary Lead Teacher in the Maple room. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Vermont, she went on to earn her Master’s in Education in Special Education from Boston University, and then she completed her Montessori certification through NAMC. Elisabet enjoys spending time with her family in Maine, hiking, and reading books. Her favorite Montessori lessons are in the Practical Life area of the classroom.
