Janey has been teaching as a Naturalist for more than 15 years. After receiving her Masters in Education at Lesley University, and while raising her daughter, she started teaching all grade levels at the Audubon at Broadmoor. Her passion for nature began as a child, birding with her Mom, and continued as she raised her daughter, exploring in the backyard. Nature is her solace, a place of focus where she can joyfully appreciate and learn about the world around her. At Riverbend she has the opportunity to share this with her students. Janey continues to develop as a teacher naturalist, sharpening her skills at trainings in New England and leading trainings for Montessori teachers. Her passion in nature continues as she hikes the white mountains and bird watches during migration in the spring and fall.
