Kate holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Child Development from Tufts University and a Masters of Art degree in Social Work from Boston College. Following Kate’s first career in pediatric social work, she moved into the role of lead toddler teacher in the Willow Room in 2021. She earned her Primary and Toddler Montessori Certification through the North American Montessori Center. Kate’s favorite Montessori lessons involve gathering together at circle time for language lessons. There is nothing sweeter than hearing a toddler use new words! She feels her work with our youngest students is key to their success as lifelong learners. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family and friends, often out in nature, and teaching women’s self defense seminars. She balances this with testing her speed at word jumbles and finding opportunities to use glitter.
