Joined Riverbend in 2022
Scott Cohen joined the Riverbend community in 2022. He has two sons currently enrolled in the Primary and Lower Elementary programs. Scott is a technologist and patented inventor. Scott was a pioneer in the wireless imaging industry, having created one of the first systems able to send images and data to mobile devices. This system grew into an interoperability platform for seamless cross-domain data exchange for civilian and defense agencies, healthcare, and private-sector stakeholders. Through his former company, DropFire, Scott successfully licensed and commercialized intellectual property from MIT to revolutionize the data management domain. Next, as Co-Founder, Scott then brought his passion for cutting-edge technology to BigR.io, a Big Data and Machine Learning consulting firm that was acquired by Saviance in 2019. Currently, Scott is CEO and Co-Founder of Jaxon.ai, an AI company developing breakthrough technologies that speed up the process of creating custom AI applications. Scott holds a BS from Union College, an MBA from Northeastern University, and an MS from the Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University with coursework performed at MIT.
