Alvin joined the Riverbend community in 2021 as a parent. His daughter is currently enrolled in the Primary Program. Alvin is an attorney in Brown Rudnick LLP Corporate Practice Group, Media Practice Group, and Brand and Reputation Management Group. He is also the secretary of the Brown Rudnick Foundation’s board where he also serves as a member of the grants committee. Prior to his career as an attorney, Alvin was the Associate Director of the Hiphop Archive and Research Institute at Harvard University while earning his master’s degree at Harvard University Extension School in Museum Studies. Alvin also earned a BS in Music Industry from Northeastern University, where started a music management and production company and a clothing line from his dorm, and a JD from Northeastern University School of Law. Reaching back to his time in the music industry, he currently serves on the board of the Louis Armstrong Education Foundation which is chaired by Wynton Marsalis. When he is not working, he enjoys playing guitar with his daughter, building guitar pedals and other electronic devices, and collecting sneakers.
