Luiz Miguel Camargo has been a Riverbend parent since 2015 and is currently co-chair of the strategic planning committee and member of both finance and DEI committees. Miguel has over 20+ years in the biotech/pharma sector having worked at Merck & Co, Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Innovation, and UCB. Currently, Miguel is a Senior Commercialization Advisor with In-Q-Tel Emerge, connecting the U.S. government innovation pipeline with entrepreneurship to support technology development for the national interest. Miguel received his BA in Human Physiology from Boston University, his MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Manchester, UK and his PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK. He grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
