Po-Wei Weng has over 25 years of experience in higher and K-12 education as an administrator, researcher, instructor, and performing artist. His expertise spans school leadership, ethnomusicology, international education, and East Asian traditional music, theater, and media culture. Po-Wei is passionate about cross-cultural scholarship and exchanges, emphasizing intercultural competence and multi-musicality. He holds degrees in Musicology from National Taiwan University and Ethnomusicology from Wesleyan University. Po-Wei has taught at Wesleyan University, Mount Holyoke College, and Central Connecticut State University, and served as a Mandarin teacher, Chair of the Languages Department, and inaugural Director of International Education and Global Engagement at The Cambridge School of Weston. He currently serves as Assistant Head of School at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA.
