Celebrating 15 Years of Riverbend
2025 marks the 15th anniversary of the founding of Riverbend School! The founders’ vision of a modern, village-style Montessori campus for students from toddler through eighth grade has come to life during these past 15 years, and we’ll be celebrating this special occasion all year long!
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the founding of Riverbend School, which opened its doors in 2010 with the merger of Eliot Montessori School and Natick Montessori School. School leaders envisioned a unified campus with modern new buildings and wide open spaces where they could effectively educate the next generation of thoughtful, kind, courageous leaders.
The largest project in the history of the South Natick Historic District, the Riverbend School construction project was an exciting program for the area. School leaders referred to it as a “village-style school,” where a community of diverse learners would be instructed using the Montessori Method.
During the past 15 years, we’ve cultivated our beautiful campus on Eliot Street, complete with 6 buildings that are purpose-built to meet the needs of our students. We’ve also established the Magullion Center, a new satellite campus a mile down the road in South Natick where our students engage in fully integrated outdoor learning projects that not only feature science and nature, but also include history, the arts, math, mindfulness, and literacy curriculums.
Since 2010, we’ve educated thousands of children and supported each of their families. Riverbend has become the premier private independent Montessori school for toddler to eighth grade students in the Metrowest area. We’re so grateful to have played a role in the development of a generation of students who’ve gone on to thrive in high school, college, and beyond!
