William joined the Riverbend community in 2023 as a parent, and joined the board in 2025. He has a daughter in first grade and a son in Primary. He is the co-founder and manager of Tsundoku Partners, a financial technology startup building software that operates at the intersection of financial analysis and the law, two fields in which he worked before joining the startup world. A native of the Philadelphia area, he’s the son of a high school history teacher whose career spanned five decades. Prior to joining the Riverbend board, he served for four years as treasurer on the board of the Transportation Children’s Center in Boston. He has a BA from Yale University and a JD from Stanford Law School. In his time outside of work and being entertained by his children, he enjoys playing acoustic guitar, skiing, trying to become a better cook, tinkering around the house, and starting every morning walking the dog along the Charles River while looking up bird calls on his phone or listening to all sorts of podcasts.
