All-School Dance Party
Riverbend students and families light up the night at the annual all-school dance party in the Riverbend gym! From toddlers through middle schoolers, students of all ages love this festive, high energy evening for the whole family.

The all-school dance party is a highlight of the year at Riverbend! The gym is transformed into a fun, energetic space where students dance, sing, and have a great time with friends. We’ve created a tailored playlist for the school dance to make sure everyone has a blast! From today’s hits to throwback favorites, our DJ mixes it up so there’s something for everyone. The evening begins with a sensory-friendly experience for Children’s House students, and the energy builds as the Upper School students arrive.
Dance Party Schedule
5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. – Primary and Toddler friends are invited to enjoy a sensory-friendly start to the evening. This early time is designed to be calmer and more welcoming for our youngest students, with the lights fully on, lower noise levels, and plenty of space to explore comfortably. They can move and dance without it feeling overwhelming before the older students arrive.
5:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Upper School friends (Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Middle School) are invited to join us at 5:45 p.m. to get the dance party going strong!
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – The lights are turned down, the music is turned up, and glow lights get the energy going on the dance floor! Coach K has black lights, balloons, face paint, and light projectors to add to the experience. Children’s House students are welcome to stay if they’re comfortable with this environment, or they can head home when the lights are turned down. All students and families are welcome to stay until 7:30 p.m.
7:30 p.m. – The dance party winds down, and everyone is sure to sleep well that night!
Important Details
Supervision – Please note, this is NOT a drop-off event for students of any age. Parent/guardian attendance is required on campus for the duration of the dance. No exceptions will be made. Students must remain in the gym during the event, and the playground/field areas will not be available.
Pizza will be for sale starting at 5:00 p.m. for the younger children and 6:00 p.m. for Upper School families.
