Montessori Masterclass
Each year, Riverbend offers a Montessori Masterclass series to teach families about the unique characteristics of a Montessori education. Riverbend Toddler teacher and Montessori expert Danielle Leary-Jakes guides participants through the essential elements of the Montessori philosophy. These convenient one-hour sessions take place virtually on Zoom on various afternoons throughout the year.

The Prepared Environment

Come take a deeper look into the Montessori classroom. In this parent education session, we will be discussing why the prepared environment is essential in Montessori Education, the importance of order in the classroom and how it helps facilitate a deeper level of concentration in our students, explore the different areas of the classroom, and what the role of the teacher is in a Montessori environment.
Social Emotional Learning in Montessori Education

In this parent education session, we will be discussing tips and tricks that Montessori teachers use in the classroom to help support your child’s social and emotional development and ways you can further support your child’s social/emotional development at home.
