This special informational evening invites parents and guardians to visit their child’s classroom community and meet the teachers who will be working with them throughout the school year. It is designed to provide an overview of how the classroom operates and inform families about how they can best support their child and teachers. It’s also a chance to build community by connecting with other Riverbend families.

Back to School Night Highlights

Social Hour: Before the official activities begin, parents and guardians gather on the quad for mingling and appetizers. This is a wonderful time to connect with the caregivers of your child’s friends.

Learn More about Riverbend: Our Head of School shares some brief remarks, and there are several tables with information about Student Support, the Parent Association, and Advancement.

Classroom Visits: Teachers provide information about the classroom experience at Riverbend, and families learn about developmental milestones that they can expect at each program level.

Parking is available at all campus lots, and additional parking is available on neighboring side streets. Please note, this is a parents/guardians-only event with no childcare available on campus.
