Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Information (COPPA)

COPPA (Child Online Privacy Protection Act) requires developers of web-based tools and applications to obtain verifiable parental consent so that children under the age of 13 can use those products.  Many web-based tools and applications use data to create access accounts and to customize the learning experience.  Families are required to provide consent so that their child(ren) can be permitted to access these online educational services.

Families will be asked to complete a COPPA consent form on an annual basis.  Additional information about COPPA can be found on the FTC website.
