Fall Fest is an all-school event run in partnership with faculty and staff, Riverbend Parent Association Leadership, and Middle School students. Our Middle Schoolers step into a leadership role to plan and carry out a booth or activity. Throughout the process, students learn teamwork, financial literacy, problem-solving, and time-management while engaging their knowledge and creativity.

Fall Fest Highlights

Special Entertainment: Fall Fest has featured many different types of special entertainment over the years, such as a dunk tank, a juggler, and a petting zoo! Family members of all ages can enjoy these activities together.

Community Service Project: A key feature of Fall Fest is the community service project, reflecting Montessori’s emphasis on social responsibility. Each year, students work together on a service activity at Fall Fest to benefit people in need through a local organization.

Alumni Lounge: Members of our alumni community enjoy returning to campus for Fall Fest each year. All alumni are welcome to attend the Alumni Lounge at Fall Fest. It’s a great time to reconnect and reminisce with former classmates!

Car Wash: Upper Elementary students host a car wash to raise funds for their overnight trip to the Hulbert Outdoor Center. Located on Lake Morey in Vermont, the Center is surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodland. Students participate in hiking and team-building challenges, all with an emphasis on scientific inquiry and critical thinking.

Parking: When you arrive at Fall Fest, you may park on campus or nearby side streets, Auburn St. and Water St. Additionally, parking is available at neighboring locations Charles River Court, St. Benedict’s Elementary School, and Goin Bailey House. Click here for a full map of parking options.
