Alana Shevory is a proud former Riverbend student  who brings both her personal Montessori experience and a genuine love of working with young children to her role at the school. A recent high school graduate and current college student, Alana is pursuing studies with the goal of working with children in the medical field. Her time at Riverbend continues to shape her understanding of child development and her commitment to nurturing care.

Throughout the school day, Alana supports the Children’s House classrooms as a substitute, offering an upbeat, active energy during outdoor play and a steady, calming presence during work periods. Each afternoon, Alana continues her work with the afterschool program, where she builds warm relationships and helps create smooth, supportive transitions at the end of the day.

She especially enjoys sharing memories from her own years in Riverbend’s toddler and primary programs and feels particularly grateful to now work alongside some of her former teachers, including Miss Janet and Miss Herica.
