Ashley is a dedicated educator whose journey in education began as a world language teacher for high school and college students, but it was during the pandemic that she found her calling in early childhood education, working with children ages 15 months through 5 years. Ashley has taught in play-based, Reggio Emilia-inspired, and academically-focused programs, and she is excited to further explore Montessori philosophy at Riverbend. Outside of the classroom, Ashley enjoys hiking with her rescue dog, spending time with her husband, Patrick, and their two daughters, traveling to her home islands of the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, and baking.
