Ashley is a dedicated educator whose journey in education began as a world language teacher for high school and college students, but it was during the pandemic that she found her calling in early childhood education, working with children ages 15 months through 5 years. Ashley has taught in play-based, Reggio Emilia-inspired, and academically-focused programs, and she is excited to further explore Montessori philosophy at Riverbend.

When not in the classroom, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking with their rescue dog, baking, and traveling, especially to her home countries of Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
