Brinta is a teacher in Upper Elementary at Riverbend. She has a BA in Literature from the University of Dallas, and she’s been teaching in Montessori schools at different levels for four years. She loves the Montessori method for its capacity to meet each child as a unique and capable individual worthy of respect and appreciation. Being part of the Riverbend community has been an amazing lesson in the power and impact of positive, uplifting communities. Brinta has been inspired and amazed in Upper Elementary by the children’s creativity and enthusiasm for learning.

When she’s not at school, Brinta loves to hone her hand embroidery skills, cuddle with her family’s parrot, and bake unnecessary things at unnecessary times. She also collects books with amazing alacrity. In her defense, she does eventually read them.
