
Sue joins Riverbend with over 35 years of experience in teaching and learning, with multiple advanced degrees in English, Special Education, Literacy, Learning, and Educational Leadership. A culturally competent global educator, Sue’s teaching spans a wide range from PreK to graduate school in greater New York and Connecticut. Most recently, she co-led a design team during Moravian Academy’s Strategic Planning process in Pennsylvania.
Sue enjoys running, following fitness routines, and traveling in her free time. A consumer of educational research, reading and writing is a huge part of her daily practice. Sue and her husband Jay have two sons, 30 and 26, and are joyfully involved in the life of their grandson Riaan, a new member of the Riverbend toddler family.
